One of the best known American hops for beer, characterised by a pungent flavour well balanced with the bitterness: for this reason it is much used in dry hopping.
It has intense citrusy flavours which often resemble grapefruit.
Its use is recommended in American-style beers, especially Pale Ales, but also in IPAs, Porters and Wheats.
