Fermolager W, designed by a German university, has been selected for bottom-fermentation, for brewing pils or lager beer.
Fermolager W gives a good balance of fruity and floral aromas, thanks to the production of the proper esters and to the rapid diacetyl reduction.
REHYDRATATION: before use, add 10–20 times the weight in sterile water inside a sanitised bowl, ideally between 18°C and 20°C. Before adding to the wort, leave it 20 minutes slightly stirring. Alternatively, you can pour the yeast on the wort surface directly inside the fermenter, and oxygenate by gently stirring.
Fermentation temperature: 12°-14°C
Dose: 80-120 g/hL at 12°-14°C for wort with OG from 1045 to 1080
