One of the best known and most used American hops, characterised by a pungent flavour well balanced with the bitterness: for this reason it is much used in dry hopping.
The flavour is pleasant, floral and spicy, with intense citrusy aromas which often resemble grapefruit.
Its use is recommended in American-style beers, especially Pale Ales, but also in IPAs, Porters and Wheats.
The hops may be either packaged under vacuum or in a controlled atmosphere.
