Huell Melon or Hull Melon hops are a newer German hop known for their bold and unique flavour. This “flavour hop” was bred as a daughter of Cascade hops at the Hull Hop Institute and released in 2012.
Its strong fruity character of melon, strawberry, and apricot is most prevalent when utilized in the dry hopping stage of your brew.
Its uniquely fruity flavour lends well to a variety of beer styles, most commonly Belgian Ales and Hefeweizens, as well as Seasonal Summer brews.
