Recipe for Koelsch beer to brew by the all grain method.
Beer kit for brewing 23 litres of German golden top-fermenting beer. Moderately alcoholic, it is characterised by a slightly fruity and agreeably bitter flavour.
Pilsner Malt Grain 4,5 kg
Weizen Malt Grain 500 g
Hallertau Hersbrucker Hop
One mashing bag of dry yeast suited for the beer style (although this is an Ale, for this beer we recommend fermentation at a temperature of 15-17°C)
The kit includes all ingredients already weighed.
A detailed recipe which will guide you step by step during the whole procedure.
N.B.: the doses of hop can slightly varies depending on the alpha acids of hops, in order to maintain the appropriate bitterness required by the recipe.
