Malt grain obtained by roasting malt with a high nitrogen content, at 230°C.
With a characteristic sweet taste, it is used in small quantities in Porter, Stout and Bitter beers.
The flavour slightly resembles chocolate, but also a bit the roasted coffee such as in Roast.
