Crisp Malting continues the tradition of Scottish malthouses, by controlling the introduction of peat smoke during the kilning phase: this gives Premium Peated Distilling Malt the distinctive phenolic flavour that characterises many of the west coast Scottish island whiskies.
This malt grain will give a beer with characteristic smokey flavours, and a very dense krausen.
